In der jüdischen Kultur beschreibt der Begriff „a Mensch“ weit mehr als nur einen Menschen im biologischen Sinn. A Mensch ist jemand, der mit Integrität, Mitgefühl und Weisheit handelt – aufrichtig, verantwortungsbewusst und moralisch gefestigt.
Diese Haltung ist eng mit dem Prinzip von Tikkun Olam verbunden – der Verantwortung, zur Heilung und Verbesserung der Welt beizutragen.
Our Mission
aMensch e.V. is a nonprofit organization based in Berlin. Our mission is to strengthen Jewish life, combat antisemitism, promote democratic values and develop educational, cultural and public-awareness projects that contribute to an open and responsible society.
